I love posts about farmers markets! I’ve never been to Dupont Market, but it sounds like a local gem, especially for various artisanal products. I’m spoiled in Hawaii for fresh, organically grown fruits, herbs, and veggies, but we sorely lack artisanal breads and cheeses. It must be nice to hit the farmers markets after a long-awaited spring!

Sasha, Teaism still is at Dupont, with another location at the Navy Memorial as well. Next time you are on the East Coast we will have to have a tea date!

I miss the days of wandering around tasting every stone fruit in sight at 7am. Following Karen from stall to stall in search of the perfect peach for a beautiful dish created by you!! As she tests the sugar on her brix refractometer and speaks produce jargon to the farmers; we stand behind her in glee, bearing smiles for days as we discuss flavor combinations.
